INT4SAN this is an advanced air purification system designed to improve air quality and the environmental hygiene of storage areas for archival, library, museum, and historical collections.

The device provides an effective solution for preventative conservation of collections, helping to reduce the risk of material degradation resulting from adverse microclimatic conditions. The INT4SAN installation in the room after disinfection and delousing processes makes it possible to maintain the effects of the treatments carried out and ensure long-term protection of the stored objects.

Apart from inappropriate temperature and humidity parameters, one of the significant threats to the durability of cultural heritage is poor indoor air quality in storage and exhibition areas. The presence of impurities, suspended particulate matter, mould spores, fungi, bacteria and other biodeteriorating factors can lead to the accelerated ageing of paper, parchment and other heritage materials.

These problems can be caused, among other things, by insufficient ventilation, uncontrolled air exchange, inefficient air conditioning systems, or a lack of adequate filtration. Such conditions encourage the persistence of harmful chemical, physical, and biological contaminants that cannot be effectively eliminated through standard cleaning alone.

INT4SAN This is an innovative device designed to reduce the negative impact of polluted air on historical archival and library collections. The system quickly purifies large volumes of air, restoring safer and more stable storage conditions for the collections.

The device uses multi-stage filtration technology, comprising five stages of air purification. The system removes:

• dust and fine dust particles,
• air pollution,
• mould and fungal spores,
• bacteria and viruses,
• unpleasant odours and selected gaseous compounds.

One of the key elements of the system is a high-performance filter HEPA H14, used in operating theatres among other places, ensuring a filtration efficiency level of 99,995%. As a result, INT4SAN purifies the air without the need for chemical agents that could be harmful to both users and the protected materials.

Thanks to the efficient and quiet motor, the device ensures continuous air recirculation in the room. The air is constantly renewed, filtered and purified, creating a healthier environment for both employees and stored crops.

INT4SAN is available in several versions, differing, among other things, in:

• air purification performance (up to 1200 m³/h),
• effective surface area (to 500 m²),
• equipped with a dehumidification function,
• a special formaldehyde filter,
• the possibility of using data loggers and remote control.
