AKRYLEP 545-2 - a bookbinding adhesive produced on the basis of an acrylic and water solution, with additives improving its usability, combines high bonding effectiveness with material safety.
The product has a neutral pH of 7.5–8.5 (ISO 1148), making it safe for paper and other archival materials. It is ideal for bonding books, paper, cardboard, and archival boxes, and is also widely used in conservation work.
The adhesive ensures durable and reliable bonds without adversely affecting the quality of the bonded surfaces. It can be applied both manually and by machine. The viscosity of the bond is 780–1300 mPa·s, and its resistance to drying is 49–51% (ISO 1625).
