Professional cutting mat, 3 mm thick and measuring 620 × 450 mm intended for universal use. The mat is double-sided and has a grid of lines printed on one side every 5 cm.  The NCM series mats are designed for cutting with rotary blades, scalpels, and segment blades.

"Self-healing" cutting mats are an original OLFA technology utilising the ability of the outer layers of the mat to self-heal any cuts made to it. These layers are made of soft PVC, which means the blade, as it sinks into the mat, effectively cuts the material and remains sharp for longer. The core of the mat, made of hard PVC, reduces the risk of it being cut through, thereby protecting your desk surface from damage. The slightly rough surface of the mat prevents the material being cut from slipping. OLFA mats are produced exclusively in Japan from specially selected, highly pure plastics. This gives them particularly high durability and guarantees maximum blade life.

Due to the EU's restrictions on the market for products containing phthalates – used as plasticisers in polymer and rubber materials – OLFA has made some technological changes to the production process of cutting mats. The material from which OLFA mats are made contains DEHP phthalate, which is listed in EU directives. Although its content in the manufactured mats is at a much lower level than current standards allow, OLFA has decided to replace mats produced from a polymer with the previous chemical composition with mats made from a polymer plasticised with additives compliant with the REACH directive for EU markets., phthalate-free DEHP (DEHP free). The marking on these mats features an additional symbol - Remote Control.
