Water-reversible, pH-neutral adhesive that dries clear.<\/strong>
Used for repairs, hinging endsheets, and general archival applications.<\/p>\n

Preparation of a single portion for individual use:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Add one full tablespoon of methylcellulose powder<\/strong> do 1\/4 pint distilled water<\/strong>. Mix and leave for a few hours.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Dilute with distilled water to the consistency of mayonnaise.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The ready-made glue can be stored for several weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Preparation for a serving size of one quart (approx. 0.95 litres):<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      Using a one-quart container, pour 5 tablespoons of methylcellulose powder<\/strong> do 1 cup of very hot water<\/strong>. Mix vigorously to avoid lumps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Once the powder is fully dispersed, add enough cold water<\/strong>, to obtain one quart of solution in total<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Leave for a few hours, preferably all night<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      To dilute, add a few drops of water, mix, and leave for a moment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
